Happy 1/2 Birthday Little Man!!!

I'm a little late to post this, but Ian's 1/2 Birthday was on Friday, May 9th! I made him a 1/2 of a birthday cake (which Charles and I enjoyed!) and Ian got his own "cake" made of pureed carrots and a rice cereal "frosting". He also opened his present!
We took our monthly photos on his blanket from Aunt Peggy with a "6 month old" sign. Every month as Ian becomes more and more mobile, these pictures become more and more of a challenge! He doesn't want to sit still and always wants to eat the sign!! We got a few decent ones though.

Glorious Sunday!

We spent the day at the Henry Vilas Zoo and park! It was sunny and beautiful! Couldn't have had a more perfect end to the weekend!

March for Babies

This morning we participated in the March of Dimes March for Babies! It was a balmy 40 degrees and windy and ended up raining on us at the end, but it was worth it!! Our team, "The Raymond Family", raised $300 for the March of Dimes. Not a huge amount, but every dollar helps!! Ian dedicated his walk to his future wife, Cameron! I made him a cute t-shirt, but because it was so cold, he couldn't wear it. So we made a makeshift sign to hang on the front of his stroller! The walk started infront of the capitol then made a 3 mile loop (or 6 miles if you were brave!) and ended at the Farmer's Market infront of the capitol. Can you tell Ian was so happy to be buckled into his stroller?! Charles' company, Covance, was a sponsor of the walk, hence the picture of the sign. Some highlights.... walking by Ian's Pizza place, where does this kid find time to run a pizza joint? ;-) Also, we saw a stand in the Farmer's Market called "Loose Juice". I can't for the life of me figure out why their line was so long. That doesn't sound like a place my colon would like me to visit!
Ian would like to thank everyone who made donations in our team's name!! Barb and Dave Erickson, Aunt Peggy, Aunt Barbara, Eric David, Rachael Corbett, Tita Laure and Tito Pete! And thanks to Tita Elizabeth and Lola Betch for marching with us!!!
